When teaching childbirth classes, I noticed that the flow of the class could change, depending on the types of questions that would come from the students. Sometimes we’d miss things in the process. I wanted to provide something positive and nonjudgmental and give parents childbirth education that was consistent and comprehensive. I also wanted to give couples a convenient way to have pregnancy education brought to their door. This is also a lot less expensive than a traditional childbirth class.
Though we have always talked about both natural and medicated births in our classes, our footage only shows natural births. We’re planning to revise some of the material to include more input from an anesthesiologist for couples who are planning to have an epidural. I’d also like to work on updating the look of our presentations to reach a greater audience.
