Necessity. When my daughter was born in 2009, I found myself carrying a bulky diaper bag, car seat, and purse while running errands. All this, especially during the winter, just became too cumbersome. So I began carrying only my wallet, which I lost on a few occasions, and thought there had to be a better way to handle the load. After searching online for a solution and finding nothing I set out to create one myself. I designed a diaper bag that attaches to the car seat for short trips, when a large diaper bag is impractical.
It's too early to tell, right now I'm still tweaking the prototypes, but when I mention it to other parents the response is always very positive. In the near future, I'll be sending the design to a manufacturer for a professional prototype. Once I've established the design and begin selling products, I would like to have my bag on every infant car seat!
